01.02.2012	That was the OOP Conference in Munich This year’s conference covered not only the essentials of software development like requirements engineering, testing & quality aspects, software architecture and IT management, yet the program allowed also to dive into the details of Integration Architectures like SOA, Large Scale or Distributed Systems. Moreover, participants explored the essence of Modern Web and Cloud Architecture as well as technical architectural details such as Multicore, Parallelism, Security, High Availability, Scalability, Functional Approaches, Product Lines, and Platforms. Between the presentations the OOP organizers provided fun and variety with table football, poker table and the open areas. In the exhibition hall the visitors had the option to get informed about our products, which also found a lively response. In this sense, a thermo cup of Brugo was raffled off. 21.12.2011	3. Testing Day Baden-Wuerttemberg in Stuttgart On 20.10.2011 met over 120 experts from the software industry for the 3rd time. The organizer, ASQF Section Software Test Baden-Wuerttemberg, led by Stefan Vogel, eXept Software AG, was able to win high-profile speakers. In seven practical presentations discussed the experts all facets of the subject "from requirements definition through to test execution". Click here for the full article.

14.12.2011	eXept now headquartered in Bietigheim 2012 - For eXept not only a new year, but also a new work environment. After many years in the office in the industrial area Bönnigheim, it was time for a change of scenery. In the future eXept will work on the roof tops of the old town of Bietigheim. The direct connection to public transportation and to the highway A 81 are further advantages of the relocation. Are you curious? Visit us next year on our eXept event. In the following overview you will find the updates: Condition variables for simple (and easy to use) control of testcase execution REST-Call blocks Option to disable logging of activityNotifications (from the underlying language framework) URL-override for SOAP service call blocks via the SOAP_URL environment variable. Access to the certificate store (for SSL/HTTPS), allows adding and removing individual certificates Elementary steps can have a variable number of output-pins (for multiplexer, dispatcher, round-robin generators etc.) New menu function: "Generate Value Extractor" for Dictionary-typed pin values. (in the activityLog, output pin-data menu) New tree-menu function: "Refactor"->"Change Variable Access", to search for and replace environment variable references.
