Training in becoming an ISTQB®
Certified Tester - Foundation Level with Muth Partners

„The seminar to achieve a ISTQB^® Certified Tester - Foundation Level certification is held at eXept's offices in Bönningheim and organized and executed by our partner, the Muth Partners GmbH located in Wiesbaden. The Muth Partners GmbH is accredited in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to conduct the ISTQB^® training."
During three and a half intensive days in Bönnigheim, you will be trained following the official syllabus of the ISTQB^®. Directly after the seminar you can then take the certification test for „Certified Tester – Foundation Level."

Seminar Goals

You learn methods, techniques and terms for software testing and test management
You are able to use the established work techniques in your projects
You can efficiently design an error tracking process
You know all phases of the testing process for software development with its key aspects and can plan them for your activity
You can identify the project risks from the perspective of a test manager and you can assess them accurately
You can identify the different testing tools and their selection and introduction process

Requirements:

Practical collaboration in IT-projects and basic knowledge in software development are required. Hands-on experience in the testing of software is helpful but not a requirement for a successful participation.

Execution of the training with a maximum of twelve participants
Complete set of all the slides as handout with tasks and sample solutions
Additional excercises and practice questions with solutions
Snacks, refreshments and lunch during the seminar days
A copy of the book “Basiswissen Softwaretest – Aus- und Weiterbildung zum Certified Tester – Foundation Level nach ISTQB-Standard” by Andreas Spillner, Tino Unz, dpunkt Verlag 2005 or alternatively “Handbuch zum Testen von Web-Applicationen” by Klaus Franz, xpertpress Springer Verlag 2007.

Seminar Prices:
For the 3.5-day open-enrollment we charge € 1.493,00 plus VAT. As previously mentioned, you also have the option to take the “Certified Tester – Foundation Level” in accordance with ISTQB Standards. The fee for this test is €200,00 plus VAT and will be invoiced separately.
