The association’s mission is to promote the exchange of experience by establishing contacts to institutions, universities and super-regional committees.
CSC
CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation) is a globally-leading company for IT-supported business solutions and services. It works in cloud computing, IT security, big data, mobile applications as well as consulting and testing services. Since the end of 2014, CSC has also used expecco for the development of its own applications.
DHBW Heilbronn
DHBW Heilbronn is located on the educational campus of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation in the centre of the city. It offers a modern learning environment with a forum, assembly hall, canteen, cafeteria, library, laboratories and parking facilities. Around 1,000 young people are currently studying here. eXept offers a dual study programme in Service Management – Consulting and Services.
GFFT Innovationsförderung GmbH
The GFFT aims to systematically support the large number of companies associated with it on the path to their future and thus contribute to the overall improvement of Germany as a business location. It acts as a platform and instrument for actively promoting the transfer of technology and knowledge from universities, universities of applied sciences and scientific institutions to commercial enterprises for demand-orientated topics of economic practice in the field of information technology.

ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik GmbH
ISG offers its customers software solutions and technologies in the field of industrial control and automation technology. ISG-virtuos enables the virtual commissioning of machines and plants with real controls and real fieldbuses in real time.
The hardware-in-the-loop simulation realizes digital twins that are indistinguishable from real machines. Realistic test and commissioning situations including all control functions can be simulated both in the sequence control (PLC) and in the motion control (MC, RC, CNC). The functions developed and tested in this way are then simply transferred to the real systems.
For the automated testing of the digital twin ISG distributes a solution based on expecco.
Mittelstand Kompetenzzentrum Kiel
UniTransferKlinik Lübeck GmbH (UTK) is a competent partner in the digitalisation of processes, networking of systems and artificial intelligence, taking into account security aspects and legal requirements with a focus on medical technology. In cooperation with the Institute of Telematics and the Institute of Software Technology and Programming Languages at the UzL, the UTK has built up considerable expertise in the field of secure and heterogeneous networking of medical devices in operating theatres and hospitals over the years. The research and development projects SOMIT/FUSION (BMBF), TekoMed (state of SH/EFRE) SmartOR (BMWi), DOOP (BMWi) and OR.Net (BMBF), which have made a massive contribution to building up this expertise and which have already taken place or are taking place with the intensive industrial involvement of well-known manufacturers (Dräger, Olympus, Söring, Möller-Wedel, etc.), are particularly worthy of mention.
UniTransferKlinik GmbH is the consortium leader in the “AI Space for Intelligent Healthcare Systems” (KI-SIGS) project, which has been funded since 1 April 2020. In addition to the business partners, the partners in the KI-SIGS project are the universities of Lübeck, Kiel, Hamburg and Bremen, the University Medical Centre Schleswig-Holstein, the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence and the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Medicine MEVIS in Bremen. The AI expertise of the scientific partners in the fields of deep learning, machine learning and cognitive systems is mapped to the diverse AI-relevant product innovation potential of the business partners and utilised in cooperative application scenarios by means of AI development and platform projects for the systematic establishment of a diverse AI ecosystem. UTK currently works at the Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Centre Kiel and is part of the funding initiative “Mittelstand-Digital – Strategies for the digital transformation of business processes”, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. UTK is responsible for the area of medical technology. The areas of expertise covered by the UTK include Medical Technology 4.0, Networking & Interoperability, Standardisation, Remote Service, Usability and Cyber Security.

sepp.med gmbh
sepp.med is the manufacturer of the MBTsuite.
The MBTsuite automatically generates executable test cases and test data from graphical models. It perfectly covers all requirements from component testing to system testing. The test descriptions generated by the MBTsuite are imported into expecco, where they are available for execution as automated test cases.
